Our Projects

Tioga Hills Elementary continues its dedicated support for the construction of a fully operational kitchen area at the Grande-Saline school in Haiti. Our coordination with SUNY Broome that with the children’s coin drive and bottle and can drive resulted in Nathan’s Butterflies match towards $1000.00.

A favorite “kindness project” as Ben continued his efforts to help other children .

During COVID-19 when Girl Scouts weren't able to go door to door to sell their cookies, we knew we had to step in. Nathan's Butterflies purchased cookies to donate to essential workers all around Broome County!

Ben gathered his neighborhood friends now in their “Nathan’s Butterflies shirts” to his first organized project. He met with his school principal at Tioga Hills Elementary in the Vestal School District and received her help to

collect school supplies for his school mates. 

The kids knew the need for nurses to have spare underwear in their office in case of any emergencies. Once they found out Nurse Jane wasn't provided with any, they began a collection of underwear in all sizes for boys and girls.

Ben and his fellow friends and classmates collected items and put together goodie bags and thank you notes to distribute to essential workers during COVID-19.
